I have some ideas of what I want, how flexible are you?
I am very flexible. I want to make sure you feel comfortable with the service I'm providing and you get exactly what you're looking for. As an artist, I would love the freedom to make suggestions and guide you through the picture taking process, but if there is something you need, I'll make it happen! Bring on the ideas!
What should I wear to my photoshoot?
Great question, with a couple parts to the answer. First, I want you to feel comfortable and the most "you". So what I mean by this is if you want to wear jeans and a t-shirt, do it, or if you want to wear date-night attire, do it! Part two of this question involves color scheme and style. For example, you and your partner are engaged! For your engagement photoshoot, Partner A wants to wear a dark blue dress and Partner B wants to wear a button-up and tie. I would recommend Partner B's shirt be a neutral color like grey/white/etc., with the tie being or having a dark blue accent to correlate with Partner A's dress. The key here is coordinated, not matching!
What is a "Trash the Dress" session?
Trash the Dress is the chance for you to get wild! Do you and your partner want to hike through the mud or relax on a sandy shore without a worry of keeping your dress pristine? This session is for you to get some truly fun and unique photos to capture any couple's personality!
Why/How do you edit the images?
I edit my photos for consistency, I love natural lighting, and sometimes natural light can be inconsistent. This is how I edit almost all of my images, with some images requiring a little extra attention to remove anything distracting. Take a look at some before and afters!
How long will it take to receive my images?
This depends on how many photos I take during your session. 1 hour sessions can be delivered in 1-2 weeks, while longer sessions like Elopements and Weddings can typically be delivered in 2-4 weeks.
How do I receive my images?
I offer a private online photo Gallery where I will upload your images once I am ready to deliver them to you. From there you can download your images for printing and sharing. I also offer a physical USB Flash Drive which I will fill with all of your images for you in addition to the online Gallery. See the Pricing Guide for more photo delivery info.
Can I have all of the RAW images?
No. I spend hours upon hours hunched over my computer carefully selecting and editing the best images I took during your session to deliver to you. That's why I do not put a cap on how many final images I deliver and simply offer a guarantee of a minimum, I will not short you on quality images.
Can I edit or put a filter on my images?
No. Photography is so much more than pushing a button and snapping a photo, the images I send you are my work, my art, my career. I put my effort and my stamp of approval on these images and if it's changed by someone else, in a way it's no longer my image. It doesn't represent my business, and no longer reflects my hard work.
